What skills do you think you will need in the future?
Write a comment that gives TWO examples of skills you think you will need in the future and why.
For example 'Exam skills are important in order for you to do well at University, which will help you to get a job'.
I think that you will have to be fit in the future because if your work is in town it will take around, lets say 20-30 minutes so then it would be faster to bike or, if your very fit, run.
ReplyDeleteAlso it would be handy to know your way around the city/country so then if your son, (if you have one,) signs up for baseball then you don`t want him turning up halfway through a cricket game on the other side of town, do you?

I think that you would need good survival skills because you could end up lost in the wild without any devices to help you find out where you are or where the closest town or city is. If you are a pilot this is more likely to happen or if you give food out on aeroplanes this is also more likely to happen. But you have a very,very low chance of this happening to you.

ReplyDeleteI think a good skill when you get older will be organisation to help you get to places on time. Another good skill would be keyboard skills to help you type faster.

I think a good skill in the future is that you need to know how much to pay because you might need to buy something for 2 dollars and you pay 200 dollars. An other thing is you need to know the time because you might need to leave at 7 o clock and you leave at 10 o clock.

I think a good skill in the future knowing your times table because when you grow up if you want to be a accountant it will help you.Another skill is knowing two languages (e.g arabic) because you will have a better chance of getting a job over seas or here. By Arwa

In the future I think you need to know how to use your money wisely. e.g If you go and buy a whole lot of lollies and bubblegum for yourself and it takes up lot's of your pantry space or replace fruits and vegetables with chocolate your not being healthy or using your money wisely. Another reason is that if you buy those things you'll grow fat on your body which will make you very sick. 2. I think another skill you'll need for the future is how to look after your kids and house. e.g If you have a kid you have to learn how to care for it and all those things a mum has to do.(but dads should definitely help out) You have to learn how to keep your house clean for your kid/kids so they can live. As you grow up you learn how to do washing,vacuuming, and dishes so if you don't bother to do those things your house will be a big humongous mess. You also need to know that whatever YOU do your child will see that as a good thing and i'm sure you do not want them to have a messy house and bad behaved children. By Teeshan.

In the future I think you need to know how the body works and parts of the body.This can help you to become a great doctor,dentist or teacher so you can teach your class about it.

In the future I think you will need to keep fit by doing a lot of exercise like going for a run in the morning or going to the gym in the afternoon. Another is to make healthy choices like choose a apple instead of a chocolate for a snack and you want to use your money wisely because if you get a job that pays $50 every week and you waste your money in one go you won't have any money for extra things you might need near the end of the week e.g. extra food or house hold appliances. ReplyDeleteI think knowing how to play a sport is a good skill because then you can keep active in the future if you don't want to be active you will get fat and become sick. Also being able to tell the time is a great skill because if your job starts at 9:00 and you get there at 2:00 you have just wasted 5 hours of your job and you will probably get fired. By Fletcher
