Food Groups
We were learning about the different food groups today and looked at one example of a food pyramid.
You need to search online for an example of a food pyramid and print it off (if you can). Bring it to school on Tuesday so we can compare these.
Have a look at this example:
How does your compare?
What is the same/ different?
ALSO, DON'T FORGET TO BRING IN A SUPERMARKET MAILER ON TUESDAY IF YOU CAN.
My food pyramid is alike e.g.at the bottom it has bread, cereal, pasta and rice.
ReplyDeleteMy food pyramid is different because it show how much sugar or fat in it.

My food pyramid is the same because it has breads and cereals at the bottom and vegetable and fruit on the next layer.
ReplyDeleteBut mine is different because I have chips and lollies at the top. Mine is also drawn and not with photos of different things.

My food pyramid is similar to this one. But I printed out three and shared them with my class-mates who didn't have one.

My food pyramid a little bit similar to the example. Most of the pictures are the same but the colours of the pictures and background are different. My food pyramid also has small triangles and circles that tell you how much fat and sugar is in each food group. By Teeshan.
ReplyDeleteMy food pyramid has fruit and veges at the bottom. On the middle layer it has fish, chicken, meat and dairy. On the top layer it has oils, nuts and seeds. My pyramid is different because it only has three layers and the one at the top has four layers.

Well done for commenting on here everyone. It is interesting to see that everyone has different versions of the food pyramid. This tells us that we must be careful when getting information from the internet, as it may not necessarily be 'true'.
