I have learnt that the weather forecast people use lots of interesting vocabulary like isolated and they include lots of detail when reporting the weather

What I found interesting is that they use a type of balloon (weather balloon) to check the vertical structure of the atmosphere. When it does this they know if it is going to be hot, cold etc. By Teeshan.

What I found interesting was that the tvnz weather map has the highest temperature and the lowest temperature next to each other and its pointing to the city it will effect. By Mia

What I found interesting is that if the wind is coming from the South then the weather will be stormy because the weather is coming from Antarctica. The North, tropical, the East, Either rain or showers and the West, sunny, windy, and slight chance of showers.

I found that sometimes the weather reporters got the weather wrong. I also find that if two cities or towns are really close together they can still have a completely different weather.
